Quinn, originally from New Market, Alabama, started CrossFit in his boss’s garage in the summer of 2011. “I didn’t want to pay my normal globo gym membership for the 3 month school break, and he was kind enough to sacrifice his evenings to teach a total newbie how to be a functional athlete.”

For Quinn, being a CrossFit coach means being able to see people at their best, emotionally and physically. “My job is to help them raise that bar of “best” and allow them to flourish in and out of the gym.”

Quinn’s CrossFit goals are simply to be as functional as possible including biking harder, hiking farther, and climbing higher. “Barbells are not life, but they are an essential part of enjoying it to the fullest.” Aside from Quinn’s humble CrossFit outlook, he qualified and competed in the 2012 Southeast Regionals held in West Palm Peach.

“My favorite thing about CrossFit IS CrossFit! I love each and every workout, the variety and flexibility it allows for. It is designed to seek out weaknesses, and eradicate them.”
