1 dozen eggs

4 strips bacon

1/2 chopped onion



Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Cut bacon into small chunks and add to a skillet over medium heat. Let the bacon cook for about 5 minutes and add chopped onion. At this point, I add ground pepper and garlic powder, but feel free to season it accordingly. Cook until the bacon begins to crisp and onions are translucent. Meanwhile, whisk together 1 dozen eggs.

Once the bacon and onion mixture is cooked, spread evening in the bottom of a baking dish. Add your eggs and place in oven for about 30 minutes. Every oven is different so it may take a little longer than 30 minutes.

* I use an oven safe skillet and keep it all in one dish. Easy clean up and just transfer the skillet to the oven after adding my eggs!
