This weekend, Alexis Totin will be traveling to Nashville, Tennessee to compete in “CrossFit Cares” hosted by CrossFit Cool Springs to show their heartfelt condolences to the victims and families of the victims in the Sandy Hook Tragedy. Each athlete was required to donate an entry fee of at least $26 and raise additional funds which will all go towards the 26.4.26 Foundation. The foundations primary mission is to develop, implement, and if needed, fund schools appropriately in order to begin pilot programs that involve athletics, activities, team building and positive social interaction among our youth.
Lexi will be representing CrossFit on the Plains as a competitor for a Saturday full of WOD’s. We will be checking in with her throughout the day to get updates on how she is doing and keep you posted via Twitter and Facebook. Its truly amazing to see the impact that our athletes are making in the world around them! Best of luck Lexi, we love you!
If you are interested in donating money for the cause, feel free to contact Alexis.
